The terms that apply when you use the TradeCall Australia website and submit an enquiry.
1About this service
TradeCall Australia (ABN 22 595 123 858) operates a referral service that connects homeowners with independent, licensed local tradespeople. We are not a licensed trade business and are not a party to any contract for work between you and a tradie.
You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to arrange trade work at the property in your enquiry to use this service.
2Using our enquiry form
By submitting an enquiry you confirm the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy, including the sharing of your details with a tradie.
3No guarantee of outcome
We aim to connect you with a suitable local licensed tradie, but we do not guarantee that a tradie will accept your job, the price quoted, or the timing or quality of any work carried out. Any agreement for work is between you and the tradie directly.
4Complaints about a tradie's work
Any work carried out is under a separate agreement between you and the tradie — raise concerns about price, timing or quality with them directly first. For licensed trades, Victoria's regulators can also help: the Building and Plumbing Commission for plumbing work, or Energy Safe Victoria for electrical work. You can also contact Consumer Affairs Victoria about a trader dispute generally.
5Acceptable use
Don't submit false, misleading or spam enquiries, or use this site for any unlawful purpose.
6Liability and Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeCall Australia is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from the actions, work, pricing or conduct of any tradie we connect you with, except to the extent that loss or damage is caused by our own negligence or breach of these terms.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
7Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — the date at the top of this page shows when. For changes that materially affect your rights, we'll take reasonable steps to make that clear, such as a notice on this site. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms; if you don't agree with a change, your option is to stop using the site.
8Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and TradeCall Australia both submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
