TradeCall Australia ("we", "us") operates a referral service that connects homeowners with independent, licensed local tradespeople ("tradies"). We are not a licensed trade business ourselves and do not carry out trade work.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through one of our pages, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, mobile number, email address, suburb or postcode, the trade and job type you've selected, a description of the job, optional photos, your preferred contact time, and budget range.
We also automatically capture technical and advertising information tied to your enquiry, including the page you landed on, the site that referred you, your device type, and advertising identifiers from the link you clicked (UTM parameters, Google's gclid and Meta's fbclid), so we can track which ad or campaign produced the enquiry.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Assess and vet your enquiry as a genuine lead;
- Share your enquiry with one suitable local licensed tradie so they can contact you about the job;
- Contact you ourselves by phone, SMS or email about your enquiry;
- Measure and improve our advertising and website.
Sharing your details with a tradie
This is the most important part of this policy: by submitting an enquiry, you agree that your name, contact details and job details will be shared with one suitable local trade business, who will contact you directly about your enquiry. We share your enquiry with only one tradie at a time for a given job.
Consent to contact
By submitting the form you consent to being contacted about your enquiry by phone, SMS and email, by both TradeCall Australia and the tradie we connect you with, in line with the Spam Act 2021 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).
Storage and security
Enquiry details are stored in our lead management systems. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including restricting who can access stored enquiries and securing any photos you upload.
